Mansi Shah is a flutist and data scientist from Cary, North Carolina who believes data (like art!) imitates life, and is interested in the profoundly human stories behind the numbers and notes. She currently curates Colors of Classical Music, a space for musicians of color to share their stories and look towards an inclusive, representative, & equitable future. Mansi is passionate about AMVA’s community-centric work and the space it creates for reflecting, engaging, and celebrating both individual & collective heritage as we work to redefine the field of classical music and our place in it.
